Hi All,
I dowloaded and installed aid3. I installed th emultators to e:\. When I restarted none of the emulators showed up. Then I installed to f:\ and same thing is happening. I currently have emulators and an alladdin mod chip with a bigger hard drive. Only the emulators that I had before are showing up. I also want to load roms to my system without having to ftp. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance

Well depending on your dashboard you should see something called FileExplorer open that and go to the directory where you installed the emulator. It should have a .XBE file in that emulator folder. Just click that and it should Launch it. Also yes you have to FTP The roms over unless your chip gave you some roms already, which I doubt that. Just use FireFTP or FlashFxp or FTPCommander to do so.

yes its possible to backup your games that you own to hard drive without a modchip BUT the factory hard drive is too small (halo 2 wont fit) and to upgrade the hard drive you dont need a modchip , what your looking at is a SID 4 softmod installer deluxe 4 . oh and you wont be to lauch hard drive games to xbl unless of course you want to get banned.

Man, thanks for the reply, I have no chip, no copied games nothing...just heard about all these things on the internet and didnt know how they work. But you say I could upload my original games on the hardrive and run them from there with the softmod. I have the usual 20 gig hardrive and have three games Burnout Revenge, Mortal Kombat, and some Sphinx game, dont really know em, bought them for my sister...but im scared shes gonna scratch it and ruin em. You think they would fit on the drive? Where can I get this SID 4 softmod installer deluxe 4 thing?
thanks man!

just a note the original hard drive is only 8 or 10 gb which you can only use 4 or 6 out of it , what you need to do is get sid4.0 from the newbie section under the useful links then once the xbox is modded come back get a tut on how to upgrade the hard drive using xboxhdm.1.9 then ur golden, and all of this without chip oh and if this xbox never been on xbl then you can use the bigger hard drive and still not get banned on xbl with sid 4 ,
