Post subject: Xbox Networking Problems

Hi,
I have used my xbox previously on a wired network. I then moved and was forced to use a wireless game adapter for the xbox so cables aren't running on the floor. (Linksys Wireless B). Now I am trying to transfer files from my PC to my Xbox and I want to use the wired network because it is faster, but for some reason I can't get the xbox to connect to my router. I have tried 3 different straight through cables, 3 different routers, netgear 4 port print server/router, netgear 5 port router, and linksys 4 port router w/ wireless b. I can connect via wireless no problem using the wireless router which connects to the rj45 jack on the back of the xbox, while when I try connecting to the 10/100 network on any of the routers using the straight-through cable, the 100 light flashes and the link/activity light doesn't even light up. If anyone knows what that would mean, I just want to get the wired network running. Thanx

.... I haven't tried networking via wired since I used my wireless adapter....
