I would like to know if someone can help me to reflash my HyperX chip cause I didn't installed the right bios on it and I don't see anything on tv but I hear sound... I've put the X2 5035 v1.6 PLUS but I had to put the OLD... My dvd drive don't work so I flashed the chip via Network.
Thank for your help I'm a n00b in modding Xbox...

If you have no video it will be alot more difficualt. Do you have FTP access?
Also, do you happen to have access to a 1.6 or to a second xbox of anykind?
You can try to reflash it through Evox, but you'll need to FTP the right Bios into C:\Bios and flash from evox. So if you can put the chip is a 1.6 great, you have video. If no 1.6 but a second box you could use the box to figure out what button sequences to press to get to the flash option _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

I don't have any video just when the chip is plugged... If I unplug the D0 wire, the Xbox boot normally.
I don't have Evox installed because my dvddrive isn't working and I don't have any access ton any 1.6 Xbox and I cut the wires that aren't used by 1.0..
For the ftp, can I acess it with the original Ms dashbord ??

No, you cannot FTP into the MSdash.
How were you planning on loading files onto the xbox?
Here is an alternative that may work:
Disable the chip. Softmod the xbox. This will give you access to Evox and FTP. FTP the bios, choose flash, enable the chip, and flash. This should keep your video and get the flash going. Then you will need to put the config file for that bios in E:\ and make it point to evox.

Can I softmod my Xbox without a dvddrive ?? Because all that I found is talking about 007 or MechAssault... I have an 300gb Hdd that I could put in my xbox if you know how to configure it...
I would like a little bit help on the soft modding of my Xbox..

Yeah, you can softmod without a DVD drive but is not easy.
So the drive is totally dead, no chance of resurecting it by cleaning?
Do you have a CD/DVD burner and a PC(not a laptop)? Cause that is what else is required. If you do, post back and I will get you the ISO you need for a softmodded xboxhdm disc. The dvd drive is completly out of use... I'm confortable with the hotswamp since my xbox is going to trash if I can't do anything with it... I have à dvd burner in my pc yes.

Hotswap is done but I don't see any changes... Just that the Xbox boot normally but it stop at the Xbox M$ logo and the dvd try to read.. after that, I loose the video for about 1 sec ant it retry to read again and again...
I've burn your cd and hotswap it on my computer and I chose the option that says "Build a new Xbox HD from scratch" I answered yes to the C:, E: and F: and then restart and reboot my computer normally and my Xbox normally... Is there something I didn't do correcly ?

K, it seems that my previous ISO was really fucked up. I apologize to anyone that I gave the file to. I had attempted to create the ISO from AID and it didn't work as well as a straight SID.
So, I've formatted my drive, reinstalled MSdash, and reinstalled SID4.5 singleboot with evox. I then downloaded from my chip and put the contents of my C: and E: drives in xboxhdm, created the ISO, and burnt the disc. I formatted the drive from my chip and then put the drive in my PC. I used xboxhdm to wipe the partition table completely and created xbox from scratch, copying C and E.
When complete I put the drive back in my xbox, locked it, and rebooted with chip disabled, and was greeted with evox.
So, I offer the file for download to anyone that wants it for a little while. I'll have to see how much traffic it gets to see if I can keep hosting it.
