Hey i just got a free PSX from a friend, but I dont know how to make backup copies of games for it. I know hoe to make game copies for DC and saturn, but not PSX. any help?? Thanks

Copies for PSX are really easy. I always used NERO and made perfect copies, but depending on the media I had to burn at 1x. In the Nero help file is more information on copying PSX games. Let me know if you need more help.

Alright, but do you burn them like you burn DC games or like Saturn games? I've been told both, but havent had the best of luck getting either to work. Thanks

I'm sorry, but I've never burnt DC or Saturn games before. I'll have to look at the help files myself to remember how to do it again.

So, what have you tried exactly, I do remember you need to set it to burn RAW data with no error correction.
Unfortunely I am at work and I don't have access to NERO right now.

I couldnt tell ya right now. I've been doing a proect all night and my brains a little fried. So I decided to come and check out what I've missed on here lately. I believe you burn them like a Saturn game, but only about half of them have worked for me, and only one that I burned like a DC game worked. I did it all on my friends comp cuz he has two 120 GB HDD's so lots of place to store stuff. Maybe his burner is the problem...

That could be. What does he have? I know I used to use a plextor and a lite-on, they both worked great.

I'm not sure what kind of burner he has, but knowing him, thats one thing that he went cheap on thinking he would just upgrade to a dvd burner later

ps1? modded? copies? just burn them to any CD. Copy the whole disc and use disc-at-once. iso mode1. just find nero, save the headaches.
