ok so i get everything done, all solders and everything on 3.0CE. BUT I can't get the front buttons to work, power nor eject won't do anything. the box will turn on right when power is connected to it so what do I need to check

I had the same thing happen to me once. Turned out to be a problem with the motherboard and not with the power/eject button. Eventually, the board totally failed on me.
If you remove the chip and all that goes with it, make your Xbox stock again, does the problem still exist or go away.
If the problem still exists, I would say something happened to your motherboard. _________________ Xbox 1.4
