this is the problem i upgraded my xbox hardrive with XBMC, working fine until my brother used it, he watch a DVD then switched the XBOX off. in the morning went to switch it on the light started flashing red.
basically nothing displays on the screen and the LED is flashing red fast , NOT red and green.
HELP plz

try booting a Original game disk. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

thanks but ive tried that and the screen is still blank no xbox screen nothing, and the red light is still flashing,
do u hav any other ideas?

I have heard of v1.5's having bios problems, but I am not sure if they were flashing red fast. (like you are describing)
What kind of mod do you have? Soft, what ver? Chip, what kind?
Do you hear any noise from the box? _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

there is no mod chip, i did a soft mod i used XBOX HD Maker, and made a iso which i copyied to the harddrive and then locked the hard drive. the dash board was Xbox media centre, it worked fine but now it doesnt do any thing but a red flashing light.
there no noise comin from it
the thing im confused about is that the when you fist turn on a xbox it normaly shows the xbox welcome screen, now it doesnt display that either, no sevice error, nothing
what do u think?

did u try coldbooting your exploitable game? coldboot is pop disc in power off and power back on with disc inside.! _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

i tried cold booting it before nothing happens.
Is my xbox dead

yep i still hav a backup of the eeprom.
but what does the MOD chip real do, is it another BIOS chip or something like that?
