Hi I am a newbie and just received my new Xenium SPice . I am reading the instructions and it tell me to update the BIOS. Were do I get this file from?

If you look in the VIP download section, you can find what you need. Try the xecuter 4983 or the evox M8. Do not use the M8_16 unless you have a v1.6 xbox. _________________

Ok I will try that. One more question, can I flash the BIOS with my USB memory stick?

I was going to try that at some point but that's my understanding.
You might try using the X2 bios I have in my sig. Love it.

I've never tried that before, but I would say no. You are better off if you FTP the bios to your xbox using flashfxp. _________________

Ok like I said I am very new to this. i got the file. Is there anyway I can burn this file to a CD? And upgrade the BIOS that way?
So after I upgrade the BIOS, I can play back-up games right?

I highly suggest getting the iceguide from teamxodus.com and read through that and see what you need to do with your chip...explains everything about flashing bios' and upgrading hdds and that sort of thing...so after you flash with a new bios you should then use aid 2.11 to install all apps and dashboards that you need...you can find that in the vip section of this site or on aideluxe.com via torrent....good luck....later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

I didn't have a flashdrive when I modded and burnt the bios on a cdr. Had to add some junk files but the chip saw it and grabbed it.

You can if you have the usb adapter that comes with some exenium mod kits
