hy guys i have an aladdin advance 64 installed in my xbox. the other day i got error code 16 ! which is the hard disk but i have noticed that the Xecuter bios is'nt working, could this be affecting the way the hard disk is read ? and does anyone know what i can do ?

I thought error 16 was dashboard specific. I would check your dashboard files.
Are you able to launch MS dashboard at all?
If you can't get it sorted out, an autoinstaller wouldn't be a bad idea to reformat the HD, flash your modchip (if it can be flashed from CD), and reinstall apps, dashboard.
I'm curious to how you know your xecuter bios isn't working. If it's trying to run and launch your EvoX and the dashboard files are screwed up then the error code 16 makes sense to me.
Files could have become corrupt, stranger things have happened.
