I have installed a few XBIT chips and they were all really easy. Just screw down and thats it....no sodering, no adapters. I have heard of others having problems installing them, so I can only speak based on my personal experience. I would think though for all modchips, there are people who had lots of problems. _________________ My Setup:

I really don't see how one chip can be much easier than the next. You still have to take your xbox apart the same and solder the d0 wire. Now, if you go with a solderless chip versus one that solders then that may make things a little easier for you intially. You're still going to have to solder the d0 wire to the chip and to the motherboard.
I prefer Xenium and X2.3 chips myself. They seem to get the most support since they seem to be the most sold.
Whatever you decide, you will be able to do all the things you want. All the new chips offer very similar attributes. They all get you to the same point, albeit maybe a slightly different route. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Chameleons are very easy to do as I've done a handful and none of them have come lose or needed to be realined, in over 8 months. On that note, the chameleon is no longer for sale form easybuy2000, so I dont know where you could pick it up at.
I believe all of the mod chips should meet your other requirements. As for the other solderless chips, I've heard of them needing realignment every now and then. In the end it is just what you feel comfortable to do, aka if you wanna solder or not. Good luck. _________________ XBOX v1.0:
