What goes on each? ie games, skins etc.
Also how do I add new skins?

hi marcman,

ok lets get some answers to you..

A Retail M$ XBOX has 6 partitions..
c:\ (MAIN XBOX BOOT DRIVE)
d:\ (DVD_ROM DRIVE)
e:\ (STORAGE) GAME SAVES, M$ DASHBOARD CD AUDIO (saves audio cd's) (normally 6gb space free)
x:\ CACHE
y:\ CACHE
z:\ CACHE

So if you put a modchip in a retail xbox and dont upgrade the hard drive thats all you would get..

You could still however store your xbox games, movies, mp3's and other avi's etc all on that 6gb free space but its not much..

UPGRADING THE HARD DRIVE (recommened):
Depending on how big the NEW HDD is that you want to put in is how many partitions you are going to get..

If you put in 20gb-120gb you will only get a extra partition with all your extra space.. This partition would be:
f:\ STORAGE

If you put in 140gb- ++++gb you will only get a extra 2 partitions with all your extra space.. This partitions would be:
f:\STORAGE
g:\STORAGE

ADDING SKINS:
If you are running EVOX Dashboard (standard installation).
You will find your skins in the C:\ BOOT PARTITION..

My evox skins are located here:
/C/Skin/

To add a new skin just ftp the whole skin folder into the
/C/Skin/ Directory of your xbox.

but i run the MediaXDashboard (MediaXMenu)..
So i also have skins for that dashboard under
/C/MXMSkins/

Yes that did help. Now when you say transfer the skin folder should each skin be in it's own folder?
