I have about 15 games on the hard drive, and everything was going fine until yesterday. I went to play Def Jam Fight for NY, and it didnt load. All my other games work fine, but this one all of a sudden stopped working. I even got my backup disk out, and tried to load the game from the disk, and it STILL DIDNT WORK. WTF?
I deleted the game, and all game saves, Put the game back on the hard drive from the disk, and it still doesnt work. I also deleted the cache, and that didnt help either. What gives here? Like I said, it is only this game that is giving me a problem. It worked fine for about 2 months, and now this. Any help is much appreciated.

That is definitely a strange one. Need a little more info though. What bios you running?
Also, what dash. Have you recently done something with any trainers?
If you have evox, try going into the settings and disabling the Trainers (TSR = Disabled)
If that doesn't work, just try a new bios. I know that sounds stupid, but stranger things have happened.
If you have avalaunch or any other dash installed as an application launch it and then try to play the game with that dash loaded, this can rule out an evox issue.

I am running the Xecuter 2 4983 bios. I have no trainers enabled. I actually have never even used trainers before. This is so strange, this game used to work with no problem at all.
The Evox dash is my default dash, but I tried loading up XBMC just to see if it would play through that dash, and had no luck then either. When I put the game in the xbox, it does recognize it as a game, but it just wont load it.
I will load a newer bios later, and see if that works. I will post back then.

I am the dunce for the day. I feel like an ass. Fortunately, I keep track of all changes I make on the Xbox, the settigs, and so forth. About a week ago, I went into the MS dash, and changed some parental settings, so my little nephews couldnt play GTA:SA, Leisure Suit Larry, and some other Mature games.
I tried to load GTA earlier, and it wouldnt load either, so I changed the parental settings back, and now my games work. I assumed that it would ask for a password or something when you try to play the games, but instead it just wont load them at all.
Thanks for your help, but I figured out my own problem.

HA...LMAO..
Don't you hate when you do shit like that...
Dude, that isn't too bad...this will make you feel better.
First off, let me start by saying I am very particular about my home audio. Not to the point where I have the most expensive setup in the world or anything, but I enjoy home theater very much. I had a 300watt subwoofer with my current 7.1 system. I was getting this god-awful rumble noise during heavy bass output, especially with cool sci-fi and action movies.
I thought that I must've blown the sub somehow and was rather upset. I spent two days roaming from store to store to find just the right sub for my setup. Read all the reviews, specs online..stuff like that and finally settled on a 400watt flavor that I liked.
Hooked it up, turned it on and all sounded killer. Then, put in Star Wars Attack of the Clones....all of a sudden...I heard the same exact fucking noise!! I was shitting my pants. I was like, how the hell did I blow this one..this is impossible. I stood up and started walking to the subwoofer and all of a sudden just the right frequency hit again and I heard the noise..this time I heard it from a different area.
Turns out, the lamp shade on a floor lamp had a loose nut on the top and the damn lamp shade and heavy nut was rumbling/vibrating so loudly that it sounded like a speaker was blown...
At least your momentary lapse of consciousness didn't set you back almost $500.00 _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter
