I just installed the Sunday chip and have the LS going to bottom of MB to D0 spot. When I turn on system, it tries to power on twice then third time it goes to FRAG. I disconnect BT wire and same thing happens, I disconnect LS wire and it boots to MS no problem. I do continuity check to top D0 point on MB from LS on chip and there is continuity. What's wrong. One thing I noticed is that the pin header I got didn't look like any of the pictures in user guide. The missing pin was all the way to bottom left instead of being second from bottom left. I followed install instructions and pinned the bottom 2 and next 5 rows up except where the missing pin is. Looks like this oxooooxx

where o are pins and x are just empty space on motherboard.

If your chip was sent with a pin header on it most likely it was pre- tested here and passed. I'm interested in what you say about the missing pin though as it would surely mean trouble. Please check the diagram below and reply with the actual pin missing by name in the diagram. I'll check back. It's possible I can send a replacement tommorrow if it's indeed lokking faulty.

Hmm no reply but I'm keepiung this in mind your ascii drawing looks proper if you have a hole where other MB's have the non hole 'key' then you have a 1.6 and need to proceed with the LPC rebuild.
Let me know a bit more and I can help.

I Have just installed an Alladin EX with a Sunday chip and my xbox restart three times and then frag. I have a v1.6 and doesn't know what to do. I tried every thing I could (verifyng connexions, try to boot from cd) but I found nothing. If I unplug Aladdin everything works fine.

Basicly the frag you are experiencing is for one of 2 things.
No bios on the chip, unlikely
OR bad install corrupting communications on the LPC lines. On the 1.6 this is even more of a probblem than on earlier versions.
All you can really do is check your install, oh btw aladdin xt and sunday are different chips, hehe.
Ok Sunday I reachecked my connections and one of them didn't seem to be very well. Now it works fine. Thanks.
