I installed the Evox Slayer using auto-installer v2.5, but i used an old CD-RW and some of the options on the menu are now obviously red. My question is, before I reinstall using a new CD-RW, do I need to format anything? Please tell me what Ishould do, so I don't have it taking up twice as much space as it needs to.

v2.5 is the last version of slayers autoinstaller, so did you get a new autoinstaller with newer apps, one like xbox-hq autoinstaller by DJB?
If you are setting everything up again and dont need anything off of the HDD uyou can just run the auto installer again and you'll be fine. I hope this answered your question. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Yes, everything is the new v2.5. It says in the instructions if you use a previously used media device that this can happen often, I am using my retail HD and have game data on it, I just want to know if I have to format my HD before I can re-install. If you can find some detailed instructions on what I need to do on re-installing it let me know.

No you dont have to format your HDD before you reinstall as it should do it for you if you do a ocmplete install from slayers auto installer, but if you want the game saves then you need to ftp them to your computer reinstall using slayers and then ftp the game saves back to the xbox.
