In discussions with others, banning is taking place for a multitude of reasons and once banned it's difficult at best to get back online.
Since I doubt anyone here would tell you "there's no chance of getting caught if you.....", I would recommend to have one softmodded box/or chipped box and one unaltered box for Xbox Live. Second recommendation would be to toss the softmod in favor of a chipped machine that can disable the chip. Far less likely to get caught and banned, but no promises.

Thanks AusDude. I had no idea either until that thread started running with this one. I really should just stay out of the softmod forums. It already has a pair of real knowledgable admins and I've never softmodded. I have learned a lot about it though in sniffing around.
I'll have to get another Xbox and try it sometime. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th
