Xbox Connect is very cool, but not all games support the voice communicator. That is my only gripe.
As far as getting your chip to cloak so you can login to xbox live without getting banned, I am not sure as I don't have the same chip.
Someone here will be able to help you though.

hi Fabrix2003,
With XBOX LIVE you must turn OFF your modchip.
You must also have EVOX dashboard installed to your e:\ or f:\ partitions
so if LIVE scans your xbox c: drive it will find nothing different.
most guys i speak with who use live all the time have a un-chipped xbox to play.. But I know that you can use your modchipped xbox as long as you follow the basic rules..

I guess I am rolling the dice each time I get on XBL cuz I have my dash on C and I jump on XBL at least once a week to update some games and do some chatting with customers...
I wonder how often they scan for dash files??
anyone know?
later all

Why does M$ care if you have a modchip, as long as it's not active during XBL? Doesn't this ensure that you have an actual game disc and not a copy? Why would they care if you had a larger HDD or alternate dash? Why don't don't they just ban you for a day? That way, you keep paying them their XBL subscription fees.
Make cool XBL features. Wouldn't that be the surest way to prevent piracy?
Anyone think XBC has put a damper on the production of system link games? Not that I'm against XBC in any way. I'm just curious what others thoughts are. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

yeah, that's the way I look at it. The first and foremost reason they started banning modchip users was because of people cheating. They thought it threatened their subscriptions. Why would someone want to pay so much money per year , or per month and not be on a level playing field.
I remember my first XBL experience. I practiced and beefed up my MotoGP bike so I wouldn't get schooled and my first race people were jumping over me, going through me, and their handling mechanics were definitely tweaked via game hacks..
Needless to say, I stopped racing because I didn't know how they were doing it, nor could I compete.
I think as it goes on their reasoning evolves and expands to the pirating issues. The more people are modding, the more they may ban..but I would also think as long as you aren't cheating they want your subscription fees..especially with free services looming in the background..
XBC is wicked cool...sorry to coin a Ron Weasley phrase...damn I watch too many kiddie movies.
I truly think if you put your dash files on C you will be okay. But, be prepared for anything in the future. I mean, if they can scan C, they can scan F...so the key now is to not login with a chip active... down the road that may change totally.
later man
