Okay, bought my daughter a wirless controller. Not real happy with it. It seems to have a friggin mind of it's own and arbitrarly performs certain actions on its own.
Who here has used some wireless controllers with a modded machine and have had no issues.
I also found that when the chips OS boots up I cant control with the wireless controller. I have to use the regular controller and then swap out when I have EvoX dash up and running.

Hi ModGod,
Logitech Wireless Controllers are perfect I can guarantee you that.. Also DJB has one himself which he loves.. Ive had mine since the day they were released and its still going.. My 10 mates thrash it too..
I will be testing/reviewing the SPIRIT 2.4 wirelesss controllers soon too so ill let you know on that one. The-Console-Corner.Com has sent out some samples to be reviewed and also so they can be given away as prizes on HQ.. (which is kick ass).
My loungeroom is that large that i would need 2 x controller extension cables just to play with a standard xbox controller... The logitech is no different then a normal xbox controller and has great response..
Logitech Wireless Controllers are the best PERIOD.
Have never had any issues. I Own 8 of them

Hey Spiffi, you got the Logitech one??
I'm glad other people are having success, that's comforting to know. I just bought a new receiver (7.1) for my livingroom so now I have enough digital hookups for everything. I was tired of having to unplug one thing to plug in another. I only had one optical input, now I have three Plus two digital coaxial audio inputs and one optical out which is sweet for my surround wireless headphones that I now need surgically removed from my head after wearing so much.
I just want to get rid of all of the wires and pop four wireless controllers in my daughers machine. Then I'll have my livingroom up to snuff...well, that is after I unload my current 57" HDTV widescreen tv for a smaller DLP model. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

I think the Mad Catz 900 mhz is the best! I sit about 20-30 feet away from my box and never have reception problems & the batteries last much longer than the BIG logitech I had before. _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

The only wireless controller good enough for me to stock and sell is the NYKO wireless 2.4Ghz controller. Actually we sell at least 20 NYKO controllers the 1 of the combined Madcatz, logitech etc.
Check them out www.http://nyko.com/ _________________ V1.4

I started a post a few month ago about a Logitech Wireless control I had that started freakin actiing up just out of the blue!! The damn thing started to toggle up and down on the evox menu and game menus?? That was weird stuff, considering the fact that i've never dropped it or slammed it on the ground like some people do. I just took it back to Target and exchanged for another Logitech Controller. The batterys were never a problem and then I started thinking about interference with my wireless network?? All seems to be ok with the new controller, hopefully I won't have any more problems with this controller Cheers _________________ Xbox V1.3

LOGITEC HEADSET. SOmetimes playing halo2 you hear a bit of fuzz(icall it) but its not that bad. probably interfearance on my part since all my electronics are in one small room. also the logitec controller wireless I LOVE IT so comfy too. MS should get with Logitec and design the controller with them. I mean for the NEXT XBOX anyways _________________ SmartXXv2/4983.06 bios

I have noticed that mine will shoot over and over again the first time I start either Halo 2 or Doom 3. But once it warms up(?) it does quite well and I really enjoy it. It doesn't happen with any other games but those two. Go figure. Of course, I tend to play those the most anyway. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

I love mine I have 2 the only problems is I wear down the thumbpads. And I have an issue with the left trigger sticking. But I've dropped it a lot. Also I jam it in a drawer a lot. But they have a good return policy if you need a replacement. _________________ [/b]XBOX v1.? (4 or 5)[/b]:

I have struck out with wireless controllers. They all seem to have a mind of their own..
My daughter will be playing her games and stuff just moves around without her even touching anything.
She has GameCube wireless controllers and they are absolutely flawless. No issues ever, ever, ever. What's up MS?? Build us a working wireless controller for crying out loud
