I tried to install both evox dashboards on the AID and they both failed unziping the file EvoX.zip at file evt-hit3.mte with error code 5

Is it because of a bad image or something else?

My xbox is version 1.5 with evox bios and spider chip

Thanks

Have you tried downloading a dash from the downloads section.
If you have the time you can make a
boot disk for your xbox with the dashboard by renaming the evoxdash.xbe to default.xbe before
making it into an .iso
(also these PC line wireless keyboards are great)

Personally I think it would be a bad burn of the disc, as the ISO I released had no bugs like that (zip files not completely extracting).

I'd say try and burn the installer one last time, at a really slow speed, the slower the more reliable the disc should be. So, try something like 1x or 2x and see if it does the same.

yeah, i think it's a bad burn cause when i tried again, xbox couldnt read the dvd at all. maybe the dvd media im using is not compatible or something. I'm gonna try using a CDWR instead.

I'd seriously stick with a DVD-R, just try a different brand.

I've known Laser and Princo DVD's to work fine in my Phillips DVD Drive.
