Hey i was testing the flashgames module 2.0++ nad i have found 3 problems. here they are:
1) some games require the lowest score (e.g the fewer the movementes the greater the score) to be 1st. How can you make it count the lower scores to be first?
2) The time taken for each game play does not work
3) When i go to modify a game (e.g its resolution) i cannot see the stored settings. for example, i click on the Admin tools, then i select Game Options, I select the game that i want, and then modify (on the next drop-down menu) and i click ok. and then i get this:

hi STELARAS,
v0.5 should have the option to sort the game via highest score or lowest score.. Does it??? Man ive been coding my arse off and really im chasing my tail..
Thanks for reporting the errors.. I will make sure they are fixed in the v0.6 release.. Im planning on having v0.6++ release in the next couple of weeks.
anyway, just hang in there.. Most of the good games dont need to have their scores sorted anyway, its just the poorly coded ones..

If you notice on HQ it doesnt work either.. That because i havent coded it yet.. Matem please be aware i am the only writer of this module and i do work fulltime 24x7.. The module as is will do you fine until the next release.

The ++ version is running on many websites and no other report of errors.. I would re upload all the admin files again just to make sure nothing is misisng..

it may, but i use the 0.2++ version! (the vip one) (is the vip just an "upgrade" to add some features on the free version ones? or it is just by itself?

the ++ version will always evolve... the Free module will soon be finished and a FINAL RELEASED.. No more features will be added to the free version as i do not have the time..
I will forever be upgrading and adding more scripts to the ++ version for all those who have donated and support my project... (vip members)..
Im glad you have the ++ versoin as it is more stable.

it may, but i use the 0.2++
Sorry.. I meant to say v0.2++ version but i got confused with the free version.. lol
see what i mean.. Its getting bad.. So i have to release a FINAL of the free and then i can get on with business.. adding more to ++
I am confused a bit with the administration files.. in the admin folder of the 0.2++ there are 2 folders (includes and language) and 3 files: case.php index.php and links.php right?
in the downloads, there is one download with the admin files and it contatins 3 files: links.flashgames.php, flashgames.php and case.flashgames.php
where do i put each file? (the files of the 0.2++ and the extra files on the other download)
I mean i am confused. there is a folder admin in my root directory of my site and there is also admin in the modules/flash_games/admin !!
I am confused where to put each file!
TIA

if you are using a older version of PHPNUKE then you will have to install the additional admin files for older versiions:
http://www.yoursite.com/admin/
in the first screenshot, there is one drop down menu that says game type! wtf is that? and there is nothing in the drop down menu
in the 2nd screenshot i want to modify a game (smack the penguin) (i want to make the resolution bigger) I select the game, then modify, and i click ok.
and in the 3rd screenshot is what i get after i click ok! i cannot modify it!
Thanks again

Game type is the drop down setting for high & low score wins.
From the snaps you are showing here, the modfiy page is not coming up? the 'add new game' is alwayz at the botton of the game options..
The modfiy DOES work on the FREE version as I hosted the FREE version on my site, the problems you are having I never had. Now im running the VIP version so my help is limited sorry.
Im thinking that if the mod option is not working on your site then there could be a database error, or a missing code needed?
Try wiping the FREE version and starting from scratch, remove all database entrys and so on, delete all files too. Then try a re-install checking all added code is right..
As put above the mod option is working on the free verion, so im geussing there is something up your end
Hope you sort it and come back if you need more help.
U can bet its database problem. I had the same prob when upgrading from free to VIP. Every game in the DB has one more value for type of score. That must be be inserted in your db with games(if you want to keep current games) , else just drop all tables create them again.

Exactly... I couldnt have said it better myself.. Thankyou..
If you are running the free version i DO NOT SUPPORT OR SUPPLY SCRIPTS to UPGRADE TO THE VIP VERSION..
If you are serious about running games on your website please remove all games you have and reinstall the VIP module form scratch! Then i can support you with your problems..
Im sorry i just dont have the time, especially with bugger all people donating for the module so those who have donated will get unbelievable support..
anyway, the VIP VERSION is the most stable because i have not been updating the free one..
I will soon be releasing a new FREE VERSION but without all the extras.
l8r guys and hope you are enjoying all my nights without sleep lol heheh
