Well, being that I haven't opened it up yet it hasn't been formatted. Like I said, it's brand new.
It is a lockable drive as I have used this drive many times in the 120 and 160 flavors. I am quite fond of it since it is so quiet.
I have had this HD in a machine with no case top on and you cannot hear the HD!!
I have someone already who has given me an offer on it, but I have to check my paypal as he was supposed to pay me this morning.
If it's still available you can buy it.

Yeah, but now I have a 160GB HD that I over ordered...lol. Unbelievable. I order all my HDs from newegg.com, and they decided to put this one in a different area when it was delivered.
It's been a little slow now, but a few weeks ago I got crammed with a bunch of orders all at one time. I had both email orders and shopping cart orders. I had one customers machine chipped and waiting for HD, so when I looked in my newegg acct, all the 160s said "Delivered" in the tracking info. I assumed that the order must not have went through, but went through my PayPal info and saw that I had a 160GB HD orderd for each order that needed one. Since I couldn't locate the HD I had to order another. Then, one day I was pulling into my garage and in the friggin bushes I saw a box. There was my 160GB HD
So, until someone orders another machine with a 160GB I'll put this one up for grabs, but I'll load it up.

MG, I just thought of an idea you could do, offer hdds with SID v1.01 installed, then load up all of the apps and emus and such. This would allow someone to just simply fire up xboxhdm, and lock their hard drive, no need to ftp files and such over.
All that would be required different would to install SID first, then do like you normally do with the programs and apps and such.
I'm mainly thinking about getting this one from you if you would want to try such an adventure. I could write up a few tutorials on how to get the eeprom off the softmodded box, and how to lock the new drive once you get it in.

Funny you mentioned this, I just caught your post. I guess I'm must've missed the email notification on it.
I have been doing just what you said about offering HDs loaded up. I already have put them on Ebay to test. Just had to be careful how I worded everything. If anything it got me some web traffic.
Just let me know what you need, I'll take care of it. Basically, what I do is take the cost and add 20.00 plus shipping to it. It's not like digging a ditch or anthing, but man, to FTP 20GB of roms in there takes a few hours...lol.
I get all my drives from newegg so I get decent prices.
