hi guys,
have tried to softmod my 1.6 crystal xbox now getting a service error when xbox boots,cannot ftp,have got it replaced in argos.
my question is regarding the best game to use when trying to do a 1.6 version? also can i use classic versions or do they need to be the original releases? please help as i want to mod the box but not keen on taking second box back!! thanks

The best game in my opinion is MechAssault, and it does need to be the original version, not any type of re-release (game of the year, platinum hits, etc)
With this you can use ltools_MA_V1.8rc1 and use the supplied UXE package to softmod your box. _________________

I believe that one is patched, I don't think it is able to be exploited. Not sure though, it's worth a try, but I think it was fixed. Can you look on the bottom of the disk, on the copper colored ring, not the holographic one, the one just outside of it, there should be some type of number there, I beleive the one that works has L0 at the end of the product number. Not sure about it though. _________________
