OK I have an Xbox v1.4, Xecuter 2.3Lite Chip, 250GB Maxtor HD, the 3539 Evox , and M8 bios. We flashed the drive with the new bios and installed the new dash. The G drive shows up and is enabled but shows ZERO bites available. Do I have to edit the bios with the lba48 option or do I just need to format my G drive (partition 7)? And I thought that the Z drive is supposed to be replaced by the G Drive, because mine still has both. It's slightly confusing, because I have read posts that the Partition 6 will corrupt anything written to it if you don't already have an lba48 bios, but isn't M8 an lba48 bios laden bios? Almost there... just need a little help from all you fantastic people. If I left something out that you need to know, please tell me...

back everything up , then boot the bios with g:\ support ,
run the autoinstaller and format the whole drive ...as a large drive
.
lba48 will just let you use a harddrive larger then 138gigs ,
you also need to add g:\ partition to it ,
id say just use the bios from the autoinstaller , its all done for you ,
type 67 bioses is what you need _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

So what I am assuming is that M8 already HAS the lba48 built in because I show a G drive with 0 MB... I just have to go ahead and now reformat the enitre drive?
