I am now going to be offering painted cases for my customers. I have finally found someone who does great work. The jobs take a little while, but they are very much worth it. Here is the first one I have coming, it should be here soon. I am going to do only minor LED modifications (controller ports) in this one, but some of the other cases will be more elaborate.
I'd like to thank WF Designs for hooking me up with the quality work!

Pretty slick
love the colors ...
Is that green faded into a redish green or is that just the way the light is hitting it?
Either way looks great _________________ :_-=XBOX v1.0=-_:

I just wanted to post my finished box. Most of the work was done by theModGod, I only swapped the DVD drive & applied the skin(s). This carbon fiber skin looks much better than the stainless steel.
Thanks for a great box!

That's sweet. How hard is it to actually put controller port, eject, logo led lights on your xbox If it isn't too difficult I'd like to try it because I can't imagine it can cost that most to get led lights. Thanks. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

I bought the LED ring & power board already assembled with LEDs. theModGod sells the controller ports already modded but I dont think I want to take the time to tear apart my box _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic

The actual making of the led modded ports is somewhat cumbersome. Not much room to work in those little f'ckers. Plus, I put in two LED's instead of just one like most people do. I try to make mine brighter. So, I need to solder more wires.
If you only put one LED in it's not too bad. I can't believe I used to do four LED's in each port...god that took friggin forever and a day.
To remove the ports or replace the ports with already modded ones couldn't be any easier.
If you want, I know I have done this before and cant find the post so I will post some pics of the process? Up to you just let me know.

Yeah controller ports are pretty much the easiest thing to change out on an xbox. Definately less time consuming and clearing a jewel. I'd go for it. All you have to do is unscrew the case screws, lift the top, unplug the existing ones, and plug the new ones in. Pop the lid back on screw it up and your done. I'd buy them from ModGod if i were you. You won't get better quality.
Cheers!
