I have a 1.0 mobo with a Xenium ice and a 120 gig maxtor.I have installed M8,x2 4983,x2 4981 . also have a samsung 616t conversion drive .I can boot with cd-r ,cd-rw ,dvd....can get on slayers or any other autoboot install,the problem is that when I go to do a full upgrade install or any install it will ask the normal things to format and install I press yes and it goes back to the screen where I was at without doing any kind of upgrade or format. Has anyone had anything like this happen ? p.s. I can goto configmagic that's about it.

Yup. On the Slayers specifically. V 2.6, although yes looks marked, it's like reversed or something. So go back and make it look like no and whomp it's done. The auto install from Xbox-hq rocks! Use it.
