When i boot my xbox it turns on then off twice and the 3rd time it stays on and frags can anyone help me ??

i got solderless i know my chip is not fried cause the red led goes on so..... and i've tried playing with the solderless adapter alot and no luck been on it for like 2-4 hours just trying to get it to boot....
i also noticed that at some place the red led is not as bright so i guess when its dim its not aligned but when i get it bright red im guessing its alined but still farg....
any ideas ??

Damn stuff is so small. I hear the solder guys coming to tell you to solder but assuming that there is a reason you don't wish to do that... I would say loosen up the screw a touch on that solderless connector, reset the pins directly on top of the posts then carefully tighten it down again. Too much pressure might make the top of the mount pull up off the pins on the MOB. Also at http://www.teamxodus.com they talk a bit about the paper trick. What ever you do, don't ask there because the ol' timers will simply tell you to search on the forum using the search feature under paper trick.
