Well, this topic may not be entirely xbox related but out of curiosity, what programming language(s) do you guys tinker with or actually use?

Personally, the first programming language I learned was HTML/CSS oh those were the days of making a small website on GeoCities with a badly pixelated image and one line of text. Smile

Soon, after mastering HTML/CSS I learned the PHP & MySQL language which at first I thought was the most difficult thing in the world now, it seems like all those headaches were over nothing though even nowadays I'll get stuck if there's one "}" out of place, actually PHP is what I use for my day to day work and it still remains my favorite.

I also have knowledge in :

Xbox C#
ASP 3
ASP.NET

Though, I rarely ever use them ever IRL.

And for you older people anyone remember or still do programming on the Coleco Adam or Commodore 64 like me? =P

I'm a programmer for an airline company in Australia. We build our apps using everything and anything.. Smile My expertise is in asp, php, jquery, javascript, mysql, c, c+, vb, and assembly.. I write programs all day using php/mysql backends and ajax/javascript front ends. pretty boring really, but you can build some really cool shit these days.

I haven't programmed in C etc in a few years now, I'm more into web development since our employees can then work from home.

My favorites are:
- JQUERY (javascript)
- PHP
- SQL

I can do almost anything with those languages.

C64 huh.. yeh men too. I started programming on the C64 mate, i used to write music for original games with DJB too.. We both we quite good especially for our age (15) or something. I have been playing with my c64 again lately fucking aronud coding a demo to release with all my old disks before they corrode away! hahah

Nice thread! Cool

Wow, that brings back memories. I used to code my website in the school computer lab. Now I'm using python mostly. With a little C++ thrown in.
