Hi to all.
I'm Flip971.
I have recived as a gift, an old Xbox 1st type revision hw 1.1
On the consolle I find a modchip, but didn't know which type is.
On the screen I noticed the name xecuter2 e evolutionx
The bios is Evox d.6 or evox d.6 ejectfix or evox v2.4.
I need know which is the last verion of the bios, how update and transfer games from My Mac to the xbox.
Thanks Flip971.

Hello flip
Can you take a picture of the modchip inside and the boot screens and post it here please?
You may or may not be able to see the BIOS version in a dashboard (not the original one). Does your Xbox have one like EvolutionX, XBMC, Avalaunch, etc.?
You can transfer files from a computer to the Xbox by using FTP. In our downloads section you should find an FTP program for Macs or just search around until you find one.
You can then have your Xbox plugged into your network and let the dashboard host the server until you want to move any files around. _________________

Hi and welcome.. Take some pics if you can, it will help us all identify what chip is installed.. Since you do have a modchip already installed i would suggestion download AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE (http://aid.xbox-hq.com).. Burn it to a DVD and pop it in your xbox.. You can then run all sorts of tools to find out what bios you are running etc. enjoy the site! _________________ HQ Network:

With FTP (which EvoX dash barely supports or doesn't at all) you can transfer entire dashboards to your Xbox like XBMC that will be considerably better than EvoX. _________________

Cant see a modchip in that pic. Im thinking its most likely a TSOP flash since it looks like the write points hav been connected
Heres a pic of a TSOP 1.1 XBOX (look familiar?) and a pic of an XBOX with a modchip

According to reverse engineering the XBoX the only ones tat used the 49lf020 were the original Cheapmod and Matrix chips but that they come blank and you use an LPC programer to flash em
But those are AF chips as opposed to Modchips, intended for Cromwell, but it doesnt appear to be hoocked up. It only appears that the write points have been connected to access the The Small Operating Package chip (TSOP) to flash it with the custom BIOS/Firmware

Thanks to all for the information.
A few questions remain:
1) On the TSOP, which bios/firmware is the best put on it?
2) I find an 80Gb Hd ide, is better try to duplicate the original 8Gb or
make a new full installation on it?
3) On a new/fresh installation, Auto installer deluxe, is the best option?
Thanks, Flip971.
