Hopefully sppv is ok now and understands.
This is about EMU installer by sppv.
Hopefully I have Version 2 but I have just intstalled it and it appears to have installed successfully. Thumbs up So wanted to say thanks to sppv for a good EMU compilation
Just so you know, I used nero 6 to burn the ISO and burned at 4X DVD-R.
Just a few things I have noticed, please don't take wrong way.
Some of the emulators don't have any roms, so I will have to add some, like to Final Burn.
I am grateful for the killer instinct EMU bit I did notice it was a bit slow and the sound was quite low. My TV was up loud. I have KI on mame 32 and am aware that some of the roms have a few bugs but not sure if they are the buggy ones.
Is their optimum setting I need to use? I don't know what they are if so, so just asking.
Please note I'm still a noob at this xbox stuff so am no expert.
But this is still a very good EMU package from sppv and if you don't want coinops, then get sppv's EMU installer.

Size kept from including ROMs for some emus. Yes KIxxx isnt perfect but it does run KI2 better than the N64 emu could ever dream of. If you go into its settings you can speed it up. It is also possible that you have my V1 installer which used an older version of KIxxx.
The way to know if you have V1 or V2 is the skin. Is it skulls with barbed wire for background? If so thats V2

Thanks for the reply SPPV.
Dam I think I have version one installed as loaded disk is skull with horns. I downloaded it from iso zone and that took me 6 hours yesterday. It said updated six months ago so thought it was new.
Is there a way to uninstalll it from the disk and dare I ask where to get V2 from?

Well I have just tried to sign up to underground gamer.com. and it says, Sorry, you're not qualified to become a member of this site.
I don't know what you have to do to be qualified. I have never signed up to that site in my life.
Looks like EXTERNAL LINK REMOVED. Just sent a PM to NeoBomb.
Shame you can't provide direct link via PM but that expire after say, an hour.

Any chance you can upload your emu-installer v2 to ISO zone sppv?
I have looked through all your uploads and can not find v2 anywahere on ISO zone. TBH your downloads are to hard to get hold of. Had no reply yet from emu extra and sent pm to two members.
BTW killer instinct has the same setting for volume control as it does on MAME.

Sorry but we dont allow links to TiZ here due to our stance on piracy and that we dont want to get painted with the same brush if they get nailed in this big push the USA gov has been doing lately.
And I no longer upload there either its been probably 6 months or so since Ive uploaded to that site.
And unless somebody decides to violate the license on it, it wont be getting uploaded anywhere else. And off the top of my head V5 has most of the same emus as Emu InstallerV2 and would have everything you need to upgrade your emus and does infact contain newer emus than V2 does, just not as many ROMs since its not ran compressed.

Ok no problem. Where is V5? I only see V2 being listed on xboxHQ.
BTW neobomb said I have to contact wimpy for the FTP access. I did the day after but no reply. I don't think I am going to be able to get hold of your V2 EMU set.
So looks like I will have to get coinops as that is much easier to get hold of. I did notice you have a EMU disk you can run from DVD as well.

I have now had a reply from wimpy and just finished downloading your EMU installer V2 SPPV. I see you have your own folder on their SPPV.
I have only downloaded the one file today, as I don't know what the download file limit is on emu extra, but it beats downloading from very slow TIZ.
Sorry to ask but when I burn the ISO later, is it just a matter of installing over the old files from your version 1?
Anyway hopefully it will be a big improvement on the first one.
Best to get the downloads from EMU extra. Would like to thank wimpy and neobomb over there for access to the FTP server. _________________ I'm a new Xbox Mod Noob and i'm no expert.

Well SPPV I have now installed your EMU version 2. I decided to take a chance and install over the top of the old V1, it all went well. I was prepared incase it messed up with me doing it that way but it has enabled me to compair the old EMU's with the new ones.
killer instinct X works much better than killer instinct XXX now.
I have now managed to get killer instinct gold to work on surreal64 CE with 1964 , unlike surreal64 xxxB5 which was crap. Please see the video I did. http://youtu.be/TYZpK16RbeQ
Their is one thing that is a bit annoying. When I load KI gold on surreal64 CE, with rice 611 and 612, I keep getting a message saying, clear buffer. If I use rice 5:50 I don't get that message.
I did clear out the parts I was ment to but still get the same thing. I think it maybe a bug or maybe i'm not doing something right. Please see my video in you can see what I mean.
You posted this on another forum and Thats what I did.

Use the filemanager to open E/Cache and delete the contents. Also delete the contents of the X,Y and Z drives. Reboot the XBOX all done
And you can delete the E/Cache folder itself. After reboot it will create a new Cache folder
Anyway all good and much improvement over version EMU V1.
