First off let me be clear this is a very unforgiving process and I take no responsibility if you deviate from the instructions in any way and nuke your XBOX. Always have the original HDD from the XBOX ready as a back up. Even when following this procedure problems can develop, I have one XBOX (I use it in the video) that will only boot half the time now probably because Ive changed its EEPROM about 40 times in the past 3 days working this out.

That said heres what you need and what you do.

Required:
2 XBOXs (the one the HDD is from and the one its going into)
Mem card or USB drive with the EEPROM.bin file from the XBOX the HDD is going into
Config Magic

All EEPROM changes are made on the XBOX the HDD is coming from not going to. By doing this I now have 4 XBOXs with the same EEPROM so I can switch my HDD out same as in a chipped Box.

Im only using this method because I no longer have a PC capable of HDD builds. But if you have access to a PC that can run Pimped, for the love of God use it, its much safer than this method. Worse case scenario you end up with an XBOX not sure of its EEPROM like mine in the video (it was dying anyways so I dont really care)
