Hey all ive fitted a few chips in the past on previous versions fine, but on this one I seem to be having probs ive installed the chip same as the diagram it powers up fine when you tap the button.
But when you hold down the power button for a couple of seconds it starts to boots the x starts to come up with evo in the corner then it freezes any ideas????

I'm not familiar with the Aladdin Xt. Are you trying to boot with the chip enabled or disabled?
Do you have a dashboard on the HDD in the system? If you put in a new HDD you'll need to format it and install EvoX or Avalaunch or something.
