Alright I've got the mod chip installed, the latest BIOS installed, but when I attempt to load a dashboard like EvoX nothing happens, the BIOS just wants to reflash. The BIOS is the Xecution Newest. Anyway I do it I can't get the bios to boor from the DVD. Any ideas?!

just copy and paste my signature into your own profile.. Change the details to refelect what modchip you have installed etc..
Sounds to me like you havent flashed your chip correctly.. Once the chip has flashed correctly it should boot to your normal xbox dashboard anyway before having to install anything else..
What chip have ya got.. Put it in your signature and say 'YES' always add signature in your profile. This will help all the members with your xbox config.

alright, well i have the newst xecutioner bios installed, to my understanding its basically a modified cormwell's version. When i boot into it, the runs though all its system checks the it says, flashing bios, please insert disk and ejects the tray. From there i can flash the bios but it will not do anything else besides the flashing process. Should this bios be able to boot from disk? I've heard Cromwell's versions don't boot but only flash, I guess I'm asking, IS THIS TRUE? If so what Bios version would you suggest I install? I think at this point I need to start from the begining and make sure I do each step correct and someone else could possible guide me though it.
If you were to have my flash a bios to my system what would it be?

It is true, so you need to flash the BIOS with the newest Executioner Bios or the M7. There are lots of good BIOS to use. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

Try switching banks on your modchip, if you are using the same as I. 2.6 comes with 2 banks and you leave one with cromwell so it will pretty much autoflash in the future if u need it. That way all u need on the cd is your 256k bios (or was it 512) in order to flash. _________________ XBOX v1.3:

newst xecutioner bios installed,?? What is an executioner bios? Do you mean Xecuter2 4983.06 or Xecuter2 4983.67 bios?
If you are flashing this bios to your chip successfully, you should be able to boot any ai without issues. You really should update your signature so we know what you are running.
