yea, i can boot into the cd, but that's about it, maybe it's corrupted or something

Reburn and try getting it from some other source, i think some PC's have trouble running it.

so i got it from xbins, and i burned the iso with my dash and eeprom in it, when i boot into it, i select the first option, then it loads linux, then i type in xboxhd to start the rebuild process, and it says do u wish to continue and i say yes, then this just pops up and nothing happens, "root@xbox-hdm/2", what does that mean?, and how do i rebuild it, i have another xbox softmodded with evolution x on it, but when i try to run chimp, and green screen comes up, so now i'm just lost.

well on the unlocking/ locking ultiites part, u type "y" to unlock or lock it, but on the first option u have to type the word yes, it's been over a year i forgot about that, and now i got it working, but one more thing, i tried with a 7.5g hdd and i get error code 9, about the hdd parameters, is their a certain size limit for the xbox

when i built my aid 4.30 disk i added soem bios files on it, how do i flash them to the xbox, i want to boot just evolution x, i have my bios back up with says it's a 1mb file, but bios checker says i have 4 256k ones, which ones do i falsh the one mb or the 256k, and how do i on the aid 4.30 disk.

A lot of the 1MB BIOS files are just a small BIOS file repeated till it fills the space, so pop in AID and go to BIOS flasher and select 1MB of the BIOS you want to use and if it tell you its to large try the next one down till the flash takes.
If the BIOS wont fit it wont flash so you will be fine.
