Ok a while back I painted my xbox red and white...well now taking a look at it..i dont like it..plus i want to add some LED's. What can i do to take off the paint without hurting the case?

acetone (nailpolish remover)
turpentine (careful with this one- use sparingly on a cloth)
Goo-Gone (graffiti remover)

depends on the paint i guess, but nailpolish remover usually works fine for me...sometimes i use one of the other two if paint spots remain after using the acetone.

always use a little first on a spot of the case that you wont mind looking bleached (ie the bottom)...sometimes it fades the black leaving white streaks

i'm thinking take the top part of your case and throw it away and buy a clear case unless you painted the bottom part but ifso remove the paint on the bottom part and presto

Yeah i painted the top and bottem..but i think i'll just work on it for a while with sandpaper and then bring on the removers
