My computer hard drive crashed and lost my back up of all my original files from the original HD on my box. Does anyone have the original v1.0 or 1.1 files I could download or buy on cd? please help

I want to put it back to stock, I am selling it to a friend and keeping my mod chip, Which installer do I need? is it in the downloads area?
He is going to play on live and does not want any problems, right now it says that the software has been tampered with and wont connect.

If it already says that then the machine is banned for good. Without installing a new eeprom there's not much you can do.
What you can do is put the stock HD back in with the modchip still installed. Unlock the stock HD and reformat the retail drive using the autoinstaller here on this site. The select Prepare retail HD.
Then, install MS Dash to C.
Then Lock the HD and see if you can boot up the ms dash without any errors. If you get an error let me know.
Once you are done there, you have to change the eeprom to an unbanned eeprom. Right now though , MS is going ban happy. The information is still being compiled so I would be careful going on XBL with any machine that was once, or still is modded.
