Hello everyone,
Since a couple of days ago I am experiencing a bizarre problem with my PC & Xbox Ethernet connection...
When I transfer Files from Xbox to PC everything is OK (Full speed), when I try the opposite the transfer rate drops to a few bytes per sec (10' for 16MB file...)!
I tried several combos of Bios & Dashboard (although the problem appeared without some change in the system that I remember) but nothing...
The transfer seems to start at some speed and then it gradually drops to an agonizingly slow rate...
The Partition (F has 96GB free (I use a 200GB HD).
have tried using:
100 MB FDX, 100 MB HDX, 10 MB FDX, 10 MB HDX & AUTO nagotiation (100 FDX!).
I try to remember If I have changed anything and I cannot remember!
I have tried the latest FlashFXP with different options, windows explorer FTP, XB-tool 2.05 with boost mode and the result is the same, it starts at 1,xxx and finally it drops to 100-300 kb!!
If anyone knows if it is a hardware error or if there is something I can do about it please advice!!

Some older versions of FLASHFXP have been known to cause slow transfer rates between the xbox and the pc.. Try upgrading to the latest version of FLASHFXP if you are not already running it..
Also, If its not that it will be a setting in your flashfxp.. It writes settings to the registry and sometimes doesnt remove them when you uninstall and reinstlal..

The problem turned out to be the latest (beta version) of ZoneAlarn...
Even though I shut it down the problem persisted until I uninstalled it and installed the earlier version!
