Here's the deal. I'm looking to drop a copy of Mandrake on my xbox. Why Mandrake? Simple. It's more full featured and simpler to use than the other deals they have out there. I've found on google that www.xbox-linux.org used to have the Mandrake 9 version, but for some reason it's not there anymore. If anyone knows where I can find it or has a copy they could hook me up with I'd be greatly appreciative. I'm about to deploy to Iraq and could use this in leau of having to drop cash on a laptop just to email the wife and kids each day.

I replied to your VIP Support Ticket but i didnt notice that MANDRAKE wasnt available anymore.. Why not try the latest Eds..?
anyway, hopefully someone else may have a copy or a link to it.
Well, I gave up on finding a copy of Mandrake and downloaded GENTOOX. As much as I want to install Linux, it seems like a royal pain the in the tail. Anyone here have experience with Gentoox?

Hiya
I got gentoox home 3.1 and gotta admit I quite like it, I found it easier to copy the contents of distro.rar to the root of the E drive tho and then just run the XBE.
Everytime I made a boot disk it would'nt work so ftp was best for me, oh and whenerver I ftp'd it over, rootfs kept getting corrupt unless I copied it over on it's own, wierd but worked

My install disc that I created works fantastic...it's just the fact that the screen is larger than my TV so I can't read anything...any fix for that?
