Ok apparently there is a couple versions of this game going around right now. 2 are pirated by release groups and on the other are obviously store bought and original.
I've been reading that they both cannot be played from the hard disk. Except the pirated one has a fix(a patch and two new xbe's) so the illegal ones can. But apparently when trying to put these patches on the retail version they don't work... sooooooooo i guess if you downloaded the game(not accusing you just stating some facts) then you can patch and get it to work, but if you bought it then people are probably still working on a fix as we speak. sorry
If you patch it and get it working please submit a new download in the VIP Downloads section.

I am extracting it from an Oem CD. I just kinda picked 007 as a test game to figure out how to work with my mod chip, plus my 6 yr old loves the game and I figured if I could get it play`n from the HDD just maybe my 007 cd would be safe from a 6 yr old wrath.
