OK. Ive Been Doing Three Boxes The Last Two Days And One Of Them I Swear Wanted Me To Go And Get 55 Games I Didnt Have In My Library!!! So Yea I Get The 1.6's Done With The aladdin XT Smooth But Then I Get An Old 1.0 And The Damn Thing Is Giving Me Issues. It Wont Boot The Chip, And Ive Friggin Installed 3 DIfferent Ones And Man The Wires Three DIfferent Times And Oh MAn, I dunno. If I Hold The Power, It Will Frag, But If I Hold In For One SEcond, It Will Turn Orange Until I Let Go, Then Go Back To Green. Oh and great, Now One Of My 1.6 That I Just Slapped A 250 Maxtor In Is Giving Me #13 Code When Booting With Chip Disabled. Man, I Think I Need To Just Put These Down For A Night. If Any Answers Out There I'd Gladly Accept With A Thank You My Back Hurts Ok I Gotta Lay Down. LOL OK I Do Gotta Go Rest

The one that is giving you error code 13 with chip disabled is a MS Dash issue most likely.
Just go to our VIP download area and download MS Dash for 1.4 and higher.
You can try just FTP'ing over the xboxdash.xbe file and overwriting. If that doesn't work, downlod the extra folder too.

Hiya
I had the same prob with a 1.1 as you having with a 1.0, I never figured it out, but when I had it the BT diode was missing, so anyway I wired up an led instead and worked fine in chip off mode, but everytime I put BT back on it would'nt boot.
I have done loads of 1.6's and 1.4's etc but 1.1 don't like me.
I thought it should be easier he he
I sold it as a refurbished standard xbox in the end.
