I'm currently planing on replacing the power led and changing it to a blue one. I was wondering if i need to get a new resitor for the new led or not.
Also was planing on doing led in the controller ports i found a guide that says to use 150ohm 1/4W resitor. I did the calculation for the resistor i need and it came out to be 100ohms. I was wondering if i should follow the guide or my calculations.
Last and final question. I plan on doing a lighted up with 8 leds (in parallel) i did the calc for this and i came out with the 12 ohm 1/2W resistor. but guide i followed used a 15ohm resistor. Does the size matter? ( i assume so but figured i ask)
LED info:
Input: 5V
forward voltage: 3.3V
LED current: 20A

no i didnt, just stick to the guides too,
So by following the guides i'm not going to damage my xbox's powersupply or cause the resistors to explode?

as long as you follow it to a "T", you will be fine, i have blue leds in all my controller ports, and on the eject button, i did them my self, just follow the tutorials to a "T" and it will work out.
