is there an lcd screen out there for the xenium gold chips? if so where can i find some information on it?

id like to buy one.

Here's the website where I got mine, but since you have a xenium you need all three things the LCD screen, the LCD Mod, and the LCD Connector.. http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/search.html

are you sure...there is that little skinny long plug on the xen gold that an lcd plugs into. thats what the lcd add on thing looks like to me..

it says the chip has dual spi support for lcd screens and etc...

what does that mean. im probably going to buy the stuff and i dont want to buy something i dont need.

i dont guess i can just buy the lcd and hook it directly up to the chip...you have to have the lcd mod in between somewhere.

do you know where there are any tutorials on installing these things?

sorry, looked up xenium gold and it says LCD support, I still think you need the connector... becuase if you look at the screen theres no cord, just solder places, then you look at the connector and it has the plug, and a set of solder places... sorry im not to experience with the Xenium

the SPI cable that comes with the chip kit will be able to connect to an LCD that uses an SPI port

i didnt get a spi cable with my stuff

the only small adaptor i got was the d0 and ground wire small plug.

but what you are saying is all i need for the lcd to work is just getting a spi cable and hook that to a lcd screen? i guess it gets its power from the adaptor on the motherboard?

i know where i can get an lcd, but where can i find that small spi cable i need?

so if the lcd that im looking has spi interface, and my chip has a spi plug on it, then is all i have to do is just plug a spi cable from the chip to the lcd?

any other steps?

i know in the software i might have to change the settings for the display and stuff, but as far as the hardware part of it...is that all?
