got the jewel off with a hairdryer. just heated it up and peeled it off. now what do you guys do to get light to shine though? do you just cut the circle out?
also when and if you cut the circle out under the jewel, how do you stick a new jewel on there because there is no base under there.

you dont cut the whole circle out, you leave a small edge so you can glue a new jewel on. Light will shine thru a stock jewel, after you remove the black foam adhesive of course. _________________

Got my jewel off my slim xbox as im painting the xbox with colour change paint and going to paint the jewel after i clear it just removing the f***in black sticky stuff man its hard getting sore fingers and nails
I used a hair dryer on the back of case and a thin butter knife to get it off worked good.
UPdate: cleared jewel come up mint and painted it empire red.
