Now that I've sorted my xbox all out and it works and actually turns on. I've set about putting my games onto the HHD as now I'm addicted to the insanley fast load times.

But here's my problem. First off I have an old xbox with a shoddy Thompson drive which 45% of the time doesn't read the disk. But the real problem lies with the games Crimson Skies and FarCry. All my other games that I've gotten onto the xbox work. And it's not a size issue as The Suffering which is 5+ GBs works.

Crimson Skies loads, then brings up the Micrsoft Gamestudios logos, but then I get a black screen. With Farcry, I can get to the main menu, create a profile. But anyother action taken just leaves with with a dead game. (Selecting Single player or Multiplay)

Is there somthing I can do to the games FTP wise, or just try and recopy them and cross my fingers. By the way I'm useing dvd2xbox version 7.5 I belive.

Edit: Deleted Chache and the IGR in EvoX. Hmmm.

Try launching with newest version of XBMC. I've found it to be very helpful in kicking stubborn games in the ass.

I see alot of posts regarding getting the latest version of DVD2XBOX and XBMC. How do I find out what version of these I have?
