Ok I have installed the super aladdin mod and it works fine unless I am trying to switch to original xbox bios mode for live. A quick tap of the power button just gives a black screen on -off-on-off etc. When I turn on with mod chip enabled i.e. hold for 3-5 secs chip evox bios works fine with all games.

I just can't turn the chip off to get into original bios - usually a single quick tap of power button!

Are you getting a red/green flashing power light with that too? Are you getting any error codes in the upper left hand corner of your screen?

Spamula, Did you use the aladdin Chip Designed for 1.0-1.5 boards? Cause I had the same problem A few weeks ago and came to the conclusion that you have to install a switch to disable the chip on the new 1.6 using the older aladdins. Now the aladdin XT is a different story. With the lpc rebuild and all intact I removed one of the older aladdin chips and installed A XT and it powered up and I was able to power up the xbox with the chip disabled no problem. On the back of my XT it says 1.0-16 If that helps. Im trying to figure out how to post the photos I have here on the server For the 1.6 install But am having trouble. Maybe realccmloy Wouldnt mind posting them up. Thats if he still remembers my info. If not and you wouldnt mind, send me a PM and I'll give it to you again. Good luck
