hello. i have an intresting problem. i have a 360 so i decided to put a modchip into my original xbox. i bought a smartxx v3 for my v1.0 xbox. i install it and got it working. i went through mIRC, found and downloaded evox. i flashed my bios. when i tried to use evox, it would go to the original xbox dashboard. i was trying to find the problem so, i tried to conf my modchip so when my xbox boots it goes directly to evox. so.... guess what, when i boot my xbox i go directly to my orininal dashboard. i dont know how to go back to my modchips startup
i guess what my main question is, how do i remove/reflash my mod chip?

Thats because the bios you install is configure to boot C:xboxdash.xbe and it should boot C:evoxdash.xbe or E:evoxdash.xbe.
So you can a shortcut and rename it to "xboxdash.xbe" and place the shortcut on C: drive next rename the original dash to "xboxdash2.xbe"
or just change or modify the bios _________________

i cannot do that because i have no means to access my hard drive. i cannot FTP my xbox.

if you have a modchip and have it flashed with a bios like x2 5035 or evox m8 this will be easy just get a copy of aid from aideluxe.com and burn it to disc then install evox or whatever dash you whish to put in C:\ _________________

Use AID (Xbox-Hq Auto.Installer) to acess your HDrive by default is User:xbox Pass:xbox IP:192.168.0.2 _________________
