wow this is terrible luck
i got my solderless adaptor and i installed it and now it powers up, shuts off twice then comes up blinking orange while the fan is going very fast. please reply asap

yea, i'm playing the xbox right now with the chip out, but when i plug the chip in it messes up

If the adapter is new, I'd say your hyperx is either not flashed, the install of yoru adapter is pooched, or your chip is broken.
i believe the adapter supports all versions, since its called universal solderless adapter, but i have a version 1.3

If you have a different adapater you the same chip, and the same fragging is happening, AND the xbox works when the chip is taken off of the adapter, I think you chip is pooched. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

its fragging differently though, it used to be blinking orange and green and i got no a/v and someone on this forum told me to get an adapter, and now its just blinking orange with the adapter.
