hey guys i'm back again. i'm working on a box for a friend and i couldn't get the same chip i used for mine(xecuter 2.3lite plus). so i got a xenium ice with a solderless adapter. i've got the chip in and i get a xenium screen but it doesn't look like the descriptions i've been reading about. i don't have any menu or options. the main problem is i can't get a new bios to flash. i'm curious if there is a certain size the bios has to be or what. also i have a switch on the chip and an outside switch i assume they both do the same thing but neither one is labeled and i'm not sure which position is what. i've switched each back and forth and neither one does anything different. anyhow. if anybody has any words of wisdom please share. i was hoping to wrap this up without too much trouble.

The bios needs to be 256K in size..
You can flash via the DVD tray or FTP it over to the Xbox HD.
I posted this awhile back, cap269 made it and it's a great guide for people who need some images to look at too!!

yea cap 265 or something made a titorial with pics and it tells you everythin even it is 65 pages and i have used it my self for my personal xbox it works great! the file is PDF so you like have to print it all all of it is helpful

Yeah, I emailed cap when I found that tutorial and commended him for it. He is a great guy and runs a company called midsouthmods.com or something close to that..
You will see him posting like mad at teamxecuter's forum too. He is very knowledgable and his tutorial was killer especially for noobs. I still use it for a resource when I am doing 1.6 LPC rebuilds. His images are very clear and I use them for reference.
