I have a friends xomplete xbox that i would like to use.. Problem is the hd is not formatable or anything hd is probably good to use as a brick. I also dont know the EEPROM #. Is there a way to find out the eeprom without using the hd. Can i read something off the case or the motherboard, or is there a way to find it on the hard drive? I would like to change the eeprom number on my stock hd then put that into the other xbox. Is this even possible? _________________ kills more noobs then random grenades

First of all whats wrong with the xbox with the harddrive your trying to unlock and lock for another xbox? _________________

there is nothing wrong with the hd im trying to put in the other xbox, i just have a bigger better western digital that i use _________________ kills more noobs then random grenades

so then you can get access to the eeprom backup for the harddrive, is the xbox a softmod hdd upgrade or modchip upgrade? _________________

oh so you still need to get the eeprom from the xbox to install the old stock. Well, it wont be easy unless you want to chip it.
Those are basically your only 2 options, as for the old stock hdd you still have the eeprom on your upgradded hdd which you can use to unlock the old stock hdd. _________________

If you chip all you have to do is unlock the stock hdd which you can because you have access to the eeprom from your xbox, and stick the harddrive in and format it, and put hacked dashes on, and apps, etc. after being chipped.
I would recomend the Xenium Gold or the Xecuter 3, unless your on a budget i can name off some budget chips. _________________
