I WAS IN THE CONTROL PANEL OF MY SOFT MODDED XBOX AND I UNLOCKED THE HARD DRIVE. I WAS MAKING MORE SPACE ON MY HARD DRIVE BY REMOVING THINGS I DID NOT USE AND MY POWER BLINK OFF AND THE XBOX RESET ITSELF BEFORE I HAD A CHANCE TO RELOCK THE HARDRIVE BACK. NOW EVERYTIME I POWER ON THE XBOX THE LIGHT FLASHES RED AND GREEN, AND IT SAYS CALL CUSTORMER SERVICE (A GREEN SCREEN) ANY HELP WOULD BE GRATEFULL

Do you have a backup of your EEprom? If not, the easiest fix for you would probably be a modchip. Modchips don't require the HDD to be locked. _________________

yes i do, i have a soft modded oem hard drive that came with the xbox i just installed it and it is working fine. the only problem with that is there is only 8-10 gigs of space and i have to play from the dvd-rom. not enough for the many games i have. A QUESTION FOR YOU IS CAN I CLONE THE SOFTMOD FROM MY 8 GIG HD TO MY 250 GIG HD AFTER I FORMAT MY 250 GIG AND WILL IT WORK? THANKS!

another question i have, is there a program i can run from my computer to lock my hard drive back? i have the hddinfo.txt file.
