Syberia II Ships For Xbox

Xbox gamers get the chance to join Kate Walker on her quest to find the mythical land of Syberia in Syberia II. The game is a sequel to the critically-acclaimed Syberia, which was released in July 2003 for the Xbox.
Syberia II was originally released for the PC in March. It has also been available for the PlayStation 2 in Europe. Due to a perceived lack of interest by American gamers in the Adventure genre, Sony Computer Entertainment of America did not endorse a U.S. release.
Microids President Emmanual Olivier took odds with SCEA's decision stating, "Playing this PC favorite adventure game on a console is a completely new experience, he said." "The adventure genre is gaining steam in the Xbox console market and, without any doubt, will attract a larger audience."
Syberia II will continue the adventures of Kate Walker and will feature four new locales scattered across Europe, populated by new characters that may join her quest. Gamers can also expect more of the beautiful scenery created by Benoit Sokal and his talented team at MC2-Microids.
