I have a softmodded v. 1.6 xbox with evox dashboard version 3935. I try to copy World Poker Chamionship and Nascar 2005 Race for the Cup but niether will play. (Poker freezes on menu and Nascar won't load). Now just recently Halo 2 will not allow me to save. How do I fix this? I have a WD 160 GB hard drive. These games will play when copied onto the stock hard drive that came with the XBOX. Someone help me ASAP, because my friends are having the same problem with their XBOX's!

I am also looking for a cure for the same problem.
I can't play halo 2 or mechassult 2 from the hard drive but others like
the first halo, mechassult 1, sponge bob, packman world all work fine and decided not to put anymore till I figure this out.
My current Box is a v1.6b (purchased new less than a month ago) softmoded with AID2 through the splinter exploit and a 200gig maxtor hdd that was xboxhdd with my original bin to lock it and seems to work fine.
I recently went to AID2 V2.01 to see if it solves the problem with no change. I even tried different dashes to see with no difference
What am I missing ???
HELP

I've cleared my chache directories and reset the internal clock. Nothing changes. And I can play halo 2, but I can't save it. Nascar and Poker won't play at all. So what do we do?

Oh yea I almost forgot. I can put in the game disc and attempt to play the game from the disk instead of the hard drive and Poker or Nascar won't play, even from the disc. Maybe that will help you guys pinpoint the problem a little better.

I know this is a wild stab out there, but my hard drive is 160 gigs. The xbox is not supposed to recognize anything over 137 right? Well I used xboxhdm to fix my hard drive, but I didn't run any partition programs. could this be what is causing it?

the patch is just for reading over 137 gigs on a drive, not its ability to read games. i'd try to find a newer bios _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

how much space do you have left on
your e drive?
I know from first hand experiance
that a xbox hitting the floor hard
will make a lot of your hdd space
unuseable, but strangely lots of roms and apps and even your dash
will work fine.
I've never tested a high stregnth
magnets affects on a hdd though,
I won't even let the hoover near
it!
