Cxbx 0.7.4
I have some really amazing news today. For the first time ever, I have a screenshot from Cxbx displaying graphics on a retail game. Turok Evolution is officially the first retail xbox game to display graphics on Cxbx.

Cxbx 0.7.7b
Some folks on the forum noticed that Cxbx 0.7.7 stopped running X-Marbles and some other apps correctly. I have fixed this problem with Cxbx 0.7.7b. I have also placed this release on #xbins, as usual, this time along with the source and the PointSprites demo. CXBX 0.7.8.c This may not actually be an emulator to some people but everyone considers it one. Cxbx's goal is to convert a game from an Xbox executable to a native Windows executable.
This may sound bold but it's already happening and in theory it's quite possible. Version: Filesize: 115.21 Kb Added on: 04-Dec-2004 Downloads: 551 Rating: 10 (2 Votes)
Cxbx 0.7.8c Notes:
- Spontaneous CreateDevice failures fixed (many, at least)
- Exe now able to generate into temporary directory, allowing
games to be run from a read only device without path issues.
- Finally, Cxbx.dll and Cxbx.exe enforce version synchronization. This should at least diagnose about 9 billion people's problems.
- Very minor splash image tweaks

Cxbx-0.7.2
Cxbx is progressing extremely well, it won't be long now before we start to see some graphics on retail games. As you can see in this batch of screenshots, textures are displaying very nicely! Up next is support for complex meshes, vertex shaders, pixel shaders, push buffers, and some other 3d emulation. Hop over to the download section and grab yourself the latest release. There is also a nice bundled up .zip file filled with Cxbx along with some demos. To download the bundle, you'll have to locate it by going to #xbins on IRC (EFnet).

way way too long.

XDK samples run better.
- Added more Direct3D/XAPI emulation, Hunter The Reckoning

Cxbx-0.7.6
Looks like the scene is seeing a ton of action lately! I've decided to release another version so people can submit compatibility information to me (Games/Homebrew apps that start to display graphics, etc). The internals have changed very significantly in this version, so some apps (especially homebrew emulators) are starting to run. PointSprites now runs correctly, and is a very impressive demo.
